All bundled up for a chilly late fall endurance ride! Our "adventure" included encountering a team of dog mushers on the trail (training for the Iditarod), plus rogue piggies back at camp that had broken out from a neighboring ranch! The piggies seemed to be enjoying themselves as they roved from camp to camp, devouring all the bran mash, beet pulp and grain that the horses might have left behind once they started the ride.

Klickitat is my favorite endurance ride in this region! It's well-staffed, always a bit of a challenge, and the trails are sublime - it just doesn't get much better than that.

Long Beach is our favorite beach destination when we're riding horses - miles of good riding, and the horses just seem to be invigorated by the coastal breezes.
