Primo is the living definition of what a good temperament should be - so characteristic of the cherished, highly sought-after Coral LaCE lines that grace his pedigree. At only 4 years of age, he handled beginner riders and children with care and never took advantage of their inexperience.  His name means "mottled", as he displays "Bend Or" spots that often prompt people to ask if he's part Appaloosa!  Here is a link that describes this unusual color pattern:  http://www.equinecolor.com/unusual.html .

He completed two "limited distance" endurance rides in 2006 - the Mt. Adams ride and my personal favorite, the Klickitat Trek.  Primo's laid-back disposition wasn't well-suited to Endurance Riding, so he's been our Paso Fino ambassador who has dutifully taken many friends and guests on their first trail-ride ever.  He is a treasure in every sense of the word.  Life is short... ride well.
